ENTRANCE EXAMS
SECONDARY EDUCATION
New students interested in enrolling in the Gymnasium(lower secondary education) of the school are required to sit written entrance examinations. These exams are typically held in March and are always conducted in consultation with the Ministry of Education (ΥΠΑΝ).
The entrance examinations apply to both English-speaking and Greek-speaking sections. They are divided into three parts, which include:
-
a) Language (comprehension, grammar, composition)
-
b) Mathematics
-
c) General Knowledge (Religious Studies, History, Geography, Science)
The examination is based on the curriculum of the first semester of the 6th Grade of primary school (i.e., material covered from September until the end of February).
PRIMARY EDUCATION
New students interested in enrolling in the Primary School (English-speaking or Greek-speaking) undergo a written assessment, provided there is an available spot in the desired grade.
The written assessment covers the material of the previous grade in which the child was enrolled.
The written assessment takes place either in March or during the time period when the interested child visits our school.
